Here are photos of some of my customers. I find it really hard to narrow it down to one photo of each pet!
Maggie and Bruno had four chickens (which were hard to photograph). They had a really big coop, run and garden. When they heard my voice, they would come running. Then they would follow me as I changed their water.
Maggie and her brother Bruno were very much hunters. They brought me worms, moths and mice. Sometimes the ‘gifts’ were dead but not always. Maggie loved playing, but she was a gentle soul and enjoyed being talked to.
This cat was gorgeous. He made me laugh by grabbing my foot when I walked. Everything was prey for him to kill. He was easily pleased and would play with one toy for ages. Loved his fluffy tail until he rolled in dirt outside.
Daisy was happy with company and surprising, enjoyed exploring. However, she didn’t enjoy sharing food with her sister. Tomatoes were their favourite. Both liked fresh food so I gave them different food each day.
Clover and her sister were adorable piggies. They had a lot to say and were very brave. They spent most of the week running around the living room. Both enjoyed cuddles but weren’t keen on being groomed.
Blue was a happy chap! Lots of singing and dancing. He appreciated company and had a chat with the guinea pigs that were staying at the same time. He was a bit naughty not eating all his fresh food.
Juliet was an interesting character. After the first visit, she knew that when I appeared she would get fed. She wasn’t keen on having cuddles but she loved company and playing. I felt honoured when she followed me when I closed curtains.
Romeo was a distinguished gentleman. A couple of health problems but he was such a stunner. Loved a fuss, a bit of a play and viewing the world as it went by.
Dolly was very friendly and came to meet me at the door even on my first visit. She was very calm, loved being stroked and purred a lot.
This was one of three chickens I looked after at a cats house. They loved going out in the garden and rummaging. All three were friendly and so lovely.
Billy loved cuddles and playing. Such an affectionate cat!!!! This photo is my favourite. The first time he rolled over, I took the chance and rubbed his tummy. He loved it.
Peggy was keen on her food and liked the licky mat I'd taken. She was slightly nervous so stayed in the background until she saw my toys or food. A lovely talkative lady.
This little creature stole my heart. He loved being handled and sometimes he was quite sprightly.
Jeff was a lovely Hermann's tortoise. He was very active and enjoyed being hand fed treats.
Freddie was a royal python. This was the first time I'd looked after a snake for a long time. I was surprised at how active he was. He really was part of the family.
This is Pepper, a crested gecko. I looked really hard for him but couldn't see him. I did see that his food was getting eaten.
This is Mitzi. She was a rottweiler cross who had three walks a day. I enjoyed house sitting for her and all the other pets.
Riley relaxing while I house sat for him and the rest of the mini zoo. He was a very large mastiff but a complete softy.
Sky is the most adorable cocker spaniel puppy. As she hasn't completed her vaccinations, my visits take place at her house. She loves company!
Luna was a very cute kitten. She was very affectionate and playful.
