How the service works
I will come and meet with you and your pets for an informal, non obligation discussion at a time to suit you. At this appointment, I can learn about your pet and what care you would like to take place. I will collect information such as feeding requirements, vets contact details, microchip number etc.
At this point, if you want to employ Wirral Whiskers to care for your pet, it would be helpful to have a set of your keys to take with me. If you are going to use the service at a later date, I am happy to keep hold of your keys for you in the safe.
For repeat bookings, owners are to inform Wirral Whiskers of any alterations such as health / routine changes for pets, new pets or emergency contact details.
Wirral Whiskers will then send a booking confirmation email and invoice. Your booking will then be confirmed on receipt of payment. This will be required at least 14 days before the first visit is to take place.
Payments can be accepted by bank transfer, cheques or cash. A receipt will be given for all payments.
A handwritten log will be left at the property after each visit so you are aware of the feeding and toileting habits as well as the behaviour. In addition, free updates can be sent by email or text.
If you are registered as a client and I have your keys, I am available for short notice visits if you are unexpectedly kept away from home for longer.
Wirral Whiskers is based in Rock Ferry and covers all areas of the Wirral.
